Thanks for visiting That Fayetteville Sound project. The effort is still in its infancy, but we are excited about making local music more publicly available by making it rentable at the Fayetteville Public Library.
What is That Fayetteville Sound?
That Fayetteville Sound is a collaborative project between the Creative Economy Action Group (CEAG), The Fayetteville Public Library, Sound Warehouse and the Fayettevillle Roots Festival.
The mission is to make Fayetteville music more accessible to the public by providing access at the library, highlighting new album releases and creating a document that discuss the Fayetteville music scene from a historic perspective.
To this goal, That Fayetteville Sound has made available about 50 CDs from local musicians in the music bins at the Fayetteville Library. Also, the project collaborated for a Panel and Performance on August 28, 2011 during the Fayetteville Roots Festival.
How can I get involved?
We prefer to compensate artist’s for their albums, but we won’t refuse donated local albums directly from the artists.
If you’d like to donate your band’s album or discuss purchase of your album by the project, pleased contact Christopher Spencer at christopher@ozarksunbound.com or 479.530.4943.
