The Fayetteville Forward Creative Economy Action Group (CEAG) exists to create economic opportunities for creative people. Here is an opportunity to earn $500.

Have you created art or design that exemplifies Fayetteville? Perhaps you’ve written a short poem, created a sculpture or mural that communicates Fayetteville’s creative energy. Are you a photographer or painter whose work captures the aesthetic of Fayetteville?

Whatever your medium, whatever your artistic experience, we want to feature your work and show the community and region what you create.

CEAG, the Fayetteville Advertising and Promotion Commission (A&P) and the City of Fayetteville invite you to submit work that exemplifies the creative spirit of Fayetteville, Arkansas.

The winner will receive $500, be highlighted in the 2012 guide, and be featured on a gift (perhaps a pin, button or a magnet) given to people who visit Fayetteville galleries. Additionally, the work will be displayed in a public place for one year and be promoted online.

The jury is composed of gallery, CEAG and A&P representatives. They will choose one entry. The winner will be announced on the Gallery Guide of Fayetteville, Arkansas Facebook page.

The artist or designer retains copyright of the work. CEAG, A&P and the City of Fayetteville are allowed to use the selected work in perpetuity to promote Fayetteville’s creative economy.

The above-mentioned groups will not use the art for profit unless a separate agreement is reached between them.

ENTRY SPECIFICATIONS – ENTRY DEADLINE NOVEMBER 9, 2011

Entries are limited to three (3) images per person

Each sample should be sent in a separate e-mail

No explicit or violent material will be accepted

Submit .JPGs at:

4 inches x 6 inches (1200 x 1800 pixels)

If you require assistance to prepare your entries, please contact Sonia Davis Gutierrez (479) 442-1443.
