Hi Amber,
No need to crop by 4 x 6 since they are square. If possible, try to keep them no smaller than 4 x 4.

Sonia, the 3 pieces I'm thinking of submitting are square, are the images required to be cropped to 4x6?

The winning piece and the artist/designer will be 1. Featured in the brochure, perhaps the cover 2. The work will be displayed publicly and 3. It will promoted online on A&P, City and CEAG (fayettevillecreates.com) websites. The brochure is distributed regionally, nationally, and internationally. Finally we will have a reception to recognize everyone involved in the 2012 publication. At that event last year is where we presented the artist with the check.

Hi Don,
Yes, pottery would be a great medium to submit. The pixel requirement is so that we would have enough data to print your artwork at the best quality. Feel free to call me to prepare your entries. 479-442-1443.

Would pottery that I have been making in Fayetteville for thirty years work.
If one assumes the height vs width convention then the 1200 X 1800 pixel requirement and the Portrait suggestion seem to be at odds with each other A sheet of paper is 11.5 X 8.0 and viewed normally is in portrait mode (as you printer asks). If the paper is viewed in landscape its dimensions are 8.0 X 11.5. I might be overlooking the obvious, as sometimes happens, but regardless I need your help.

Very cool to hear. I'm not pushing for a July table myself, but I plan to be there as an observer.
